Farming with Intention

At Hollow Ridge, our vineyard is more than a place where grapes grow. It is a living ecosystem nurtured with care and long-term stewardship.

From the moment our first vines were planted in 2022, our focus has been on cultivating a vineyard that thrives naturally while preserving the health of Southern Rhode Island’s agricultural landscape.

Regenerative & No-Till Farming

We utilize regenerative and no-till farming practices that protect soil structure and encourage natural biodiversity. By minimizing disruption to the earth, we help maintain essential microbial life that supports stronger vines and healthier fruit.

Supporting Pollinators & Ecosystem Balance

Our on-site bee colony supports pollination and promotes environmental balance across the property. Healthy pollinators are essential to thriving agriculture, and we are proud to maintain a habitat that supports their essential work.

Composting & Soil Vitality

Composting is central to our vineyard operations. By returning organic matter back into the soil, we enrich nutrient cycles and strengthen the foundation of every vine — reinforcing the idea that exceptional wine starts below the surface.

Organic & Biodynamic Practices

Hollow Ridge is committed to organic vineyard management with select biodynamic applications that encourage harmony between the land, climate, and growing cycles. We allow observation and adaptation to guide our farming, ensuring our vineyard evolves naturally with the environment around it.

Rooted in Rhode Island

Southern Rhode Island’s coastal climate, unique soil composition, and agricultural heritage create ideal conditions for cultivating expressive, regional wines. Our vineyard is designed to reflect the character of this landscape while preserving it for future generations.
